Biking: Malvern Hills Wind Direction: S Wind Stength: 5 knts Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: feckin' cold -2C Sea Temperature: Weather: misty Max Speed: Distance Covered: Haven't been out on the bike or windsurfing for what seems like ages so out came the bike. I was gonna forget to go again and just stay in the warm office but then Chris asked if I had any kit so that was that... A nice steady climb up to the Wyche. Through the woods the trails were all frozen but nicely covered with leaves. Pretty cold climb up to the Beacon and quite a few people out walking. right at the top the mist was rolling past and occasionally gave a brief view which was good with frost everywhere. Nice slippy decent and a bit hairy, I nearly came off where there are rocks all over the trails. Fast decent through the frozen woods, faster than when its very muddy anyway. Good ride if a little bracing. Must get out again next week. |
